The Cornbrook Community

We strive to be much more than a GP Surgery...

We recognise that health and wellbeing goes beyond  addressing health problems  and we want to increase engagement with  community events and activities which improve wellbeing and independence. Some examples of this include leisure and social community activities, befriending, carer respite, dementia support, housing, debt management and benefits advice, one to one specialist advocacy and support, employment support and sensory impairment services.

Use the links below to find out what we are doing as a practice and how we are engaging with our community.

Patient Participation Group

We're always looking for your feedback!

We don't have a standard Patient Participation Group. Instead we have small patient reference groups who help and advise us on certain areas. These includes:

  • Appointments and Access

  • Networking with VCSOs including the Cornbrook Community Wellbeing Garden

  • General Practice Management

  • Recruitment

  • Online Access

  • Homelessness and Substance Misuse

  • Patient engagement

We are also looking to start up a virtual PPG where we we would run new ideas past you or ask for your help to engage patients in our community.

If you would like to be involved in helping shaping the future of Cornbrook in any way please let reception know and we will take down your details and email you.
