Manchester Cares are a Community Network of older and younger neighbours from across the City of Manchester coming together to hang out and help one another.

We get together in two ways....

A Pride Party in Levenshulme. Complete with vogue-ing, drag and flag-making.

Salsa and Tapas at Revolucion de Cuba near Deansgate.

Social Clubs

Social clubs are our fun and free group activities. We have 10-15 that happen every month, with everything from a Cooking Club in Hulme to a Pub Quiz in the Northern Quarter.

We send our full programme out every month, and it's always a little bit different.

Love Your Neighbour

Love Your Neighbour is Manchester Cares' friendship matching scheme bringing older and younger neighbours together to spend a little time one-to-one.

Friends will normally meet up once a week to enjoy a cup of tea and a natter about all sorts – from work, to relationships, to days gone by, to Corrie – and build deep and mutual friendships over time that help bring together two people who might not normally meet.

Sign up or you can refer a friend or neighbour...

If you are interested and think you would like to be matched with a younger neighbour to spend a little bit of time together each week, call Vicky

on 0161 207 0800.
