Winter Vaccines
Flu
The flu vaccination program starts in September/October 2025. This is to align with COVID vaccines and ensure protection during peak flu season.
We can provide flu vaccines for those who are eligible for an NHS vaccine. These include:
- are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)
- have certain long-term health conditions
- are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
- live with someone who has a weakened immune system
We will invite you for these via text, telephone or letter.
For those in education - please contact your school or college.
If you are housebound and you have not been contacted by the practice - please call us.

COVID Autumn Booster
- Boosters from 1st October 2025, for those eligible
- Call 119 free of charge now or book online via the NHS website. Translators can be accessed via 119. A BSL service is also available.
- Find a walk-in Covid 19 vaccination site online or call 0161 947 0770/0800 092 4020. This will be live by the start of the programme.
- Housebound list has been sent to MHCCCovid team. Forman’s Chemist will be doing the house visits. Patients to await contact.
